Gone fishing

So, I've been working at the same job for the last 6 1/2 years and I think it's high time that I sucumb to my natural wanderlust and desert my flatmate in her hour of need (she's getting married in April - what would you do?). The plan to date is to hand in my notice and travel around south east Asia and Australia for a while before returning to good olde blighty. Or maybe I'll just go fishing...

New Year, New Everything

I came into the office today - the first time since I handed in my notice (and no I haven't been skiving, I've been on client site). It's a little weird being about to leave the company and people that have been a part of my life for so long. Hey ho.

A number of new things are on the horizon for me in 2005. It's turning out to be a very eventful year even though it's hardly even started!

I am going be helping to lead a new course running at my church, St. Helens starting this Thursday. We are going to be looking at the book of Mark in some depth and I'm looking forward to it. I will be missing a few weeks when I'm off travelling in February but that can't be helped.

My flatmate is also planning to move out when she gets married in the beginning of April and I will be looking for someone to replace her (how is that possible? she is irreplacable!). So if you are - or know of, a Christian girl who would be willing to live with me, then give me a shout, I would love to hear from you.

So, new job, new course, new flatmate... thank God he remains the same so I do have some stability in my life!
