Gone fishing

So, I've been working at the same job for the last 6 1/2 years and I think it's high time that I sucumb to my natural wanderlust and desert my flatmate in her hour of need (she's getting married in April - what would you do?). The plan to date is to hand in my notice and travel around south east Asia and Australia for a while before returning to good olde blighty. Or maybe I'll just go fishing...

More Blinking Adventures?

Last Friday, as well as handing in my notice, I had a long overdue clearing out of my work Inbox and came across an e-mail from the Admissions team at HEC - a top European business school where I managed to land a place in their MBA program starting September 2003. To cut a long story short, I eventually decided not to take the place offered and they e-mailed me asking me why? So I answered them - 12 months later.

This morning, I went into work (the first day of my notice period) and there was an e-mail from the BS offering to hold my place until the January 2006 intake! Whoa. Really don't know what to do here. I have wanted to do an MBA for a very long time, and I have even gone through the trouble of applying for and getting into a good BS, but circumstances seemed to indicate that 2004 was the wrong time to do it.

"Will 2006 be any better?"

It seems that I haven't started on my travels and already there is much to think about. Perhaps this will be the theme of my wanderings...?

Congrats!! Having more choices is always a good thing. I guess this is something to think about in any downtime you have in your travels.
